On Tap Credit Union has provided exceptional financial service to members for over 60 years. Founded by a small group of Coors® Brewing Company employees in 1954, we’ve grown into a full‑service financial institution serving thousands of members. The credit union’s continuing mission is to build lifetime member relationships in an atmosphere that supports the organization’s core values of integrity, respect, financial stability, trust, collaboration, member focus and fun.

Working at On Tap Credit Union is about more than your paycheck, but we know that compensation counts, too. The following benefits are available to all full-time employees, and many of our benefits are also available to part-time employees.
Wages – For every position throughout the credit union, we conduct regular research to ensure that we are offering competitive salaries compared to our industry and region.
Paid Time Away From Work – Paid Time Off (PTO) is an important benefit that can be used for planned absences like vacations, as well as unplanned absences (we know that everyone gets sick once in a while). During your first year of employment, you’ll accrue a little over three weeks of PTO. The credit union also observes ten (10) paid holidays each year, and you can celebrate your birthday with an extra day off, too!
401(k) Retirement Savings Plan – Saving for your future is something we definitely encourage. You’ll be able to start making pre-tax contributions towards your retirement the month following your date of hire, and we also offer a Roth 401(k) option. We’ll jump-start your savings by matching your contributions (100% of the first 5% you put in), and the match dollars are always 100% vested.
Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance – The credit union pays nearly all the premium for your medical, dental and vision coverage. If you choose to cover any dependents, the premium is paid by pre-tax payroll deduction (this saves you money by reducing your taxable income) and the credit union pays a portion of your dependents’ premiums. In addition to comprehensive insurance to cover your health needs, the credit union sponsors a free flu shot clinic each fall for you and your family members.
Life Insurance – The credit union provides you with $50,000 of life and AD&D coverage, and you’ll be offered the option of purchasing additional life insurance, up to $300,000.
Short- & Long-Term Disability Insurance – In the event you become unable to work, this insurance will provide you 2/3 of your salary until you’re able to return. This important “safety net” of protection is completely paid for by the credit union.
Health Savings Account (HSA) - It is like a 401(k) for healthcare expenses. You can set aside pre-tax money in an HSA to pay for current and future healthcare expenses. Earnings on your HSA are tax free, too.
Flexible Spending Accounts – You can save an average of 30% of eligible healthcare expenses by paying for them on a pre-tax basis. There is no waiting – access the full amount of your annual election on the first day of the plan year.
Career Development Coaching - After 90 days of employment you will have the opportunity to work alongside your direct supervisor to develop your personal career plan and receive quarterly coaching to achieve your goals.
Tuition Assistance – Once you’ve been with the credit union for a year, we’ll reimburse 75% of your qualified educational expenses to build your career, up to $2,500 each year.
Coors® Wellness Center – In our mission to encourage the complete well-being of our employees, we subsidize a portion of this benefit cost. For about $10 per month, you can take advantage of the brewery’s workout facilities, which includes daily fitness classes like spinning and yoga.
Free Massages – We know that desk work can get folks feeling a bit tight at times and that is why all our employees are entitled up to 9 free chair massages per year.
Golden Recreation Center – Employees receive 10% off of all services at this state of the art facility (climbing walls, indoor pools, etc).
Employee Loans – Employees are encouraged to borrow from their credit union. The credit union believes that if we cannot get our own employees’ business, then we will have a difficult time getting the member’s business.
Reduced or Waived Fees on Financial Services – As an employee of the credit union, you’re invited to become a member, too. You’ll benefit from all the financial services we offer, usually at reduced or waived fees – this includes free checks and a substantial discount on loans!
Service Awards - To recognize your years of service & commitment we have our service award program.
